On 29th August a farewell party was held at the Star Inn for Village Shop supervisor Jeanette, here being presented with a good wishes card by Robin Prior…..
….and after a few words, a final toast……
…and the presentation of an appropriate memento in the form of a Village Shop postcard, specially prepared by Chris Behan.
On the last evening of August, a “Pimms and Fizz” party was held at the Corner House, raising £1032 for Church funds.
