NIGEL DAWE

The following email has been received from Nigel Dawe, currently living in Abingdon, Oxfordshire:

Hi,

Does anyone in Sulgrave remember Mr. Digwood (Eric I think) who farmed Rectory Farm? I worked for him as a young lad (16 years old) around 1960/61. I wonder what happened to him.

I remember he was a very kind and generous typical country gentleman.

I don't have a photo of him, but attached is one of myself on "my" Massey Ferguson 35 tractor taken in the yard behind the house.

My family lived at the time in the Wool House, next door to Rectory Farm.

and also this further email:

Hi Colin,

Going through some pictures just now and I came across this one of my half brother outside the back of the Wool House. It was obviously winter !

My brothers name is Roger Brook. My mum Jill remarried a Ray Brook whilst I retained my fathers surname, Dawe. It was a little confusing at times, me being a Dawe and the others being Brook, but we got over it !

Again, if you want to publish this one also, that's fine.
